Whitening of teeth: Do you do it yourself or visit the dentist? Millions of people are now asking this question on the internet. There are so many products to choose from in the counter whitening. Many of the whitening kits claim to be as good as treating a dentist. Is this the case? Not in line with the American Dental Association (ADA).
In 2009, the ADA released a report on the dangers of using DIY teeth whitening kits. The ADA explains that without proper supervision you can damage the surface of your teeth and the nerve endings.
